how can i type square root on my mac keyboard

Hello all. I have been doing the square root symbol (√) by typing alt/option + v to make the square root.

The problem is that I want the line on top of the square root. The following image is from the Internet:

I want to make that sign not this sign:

√

Is there any way to produce the first image on a Mac keyboard?
