Hi. I've tried the suggested 'option' 'command' while launching the app but I have no dialogue box to offer any repairs. I've then trashed the iPhoto app and re-loaded a fresh install from the App Store. Again the the same – crashes after opening. Had tried a restore from TimeMachine - no good either.
I'm on Mountain Lion 10.8.5 with iPhoto 9.4.3

A lot of older versions of iPhoto 11 are having this right now:

1. goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources
2. delete the files ' googlemap.html ' and googlesearch.html
Iphoto no longer crashes, places doesn't work but it doesn't bother me too much.
