There is no such thing as an a1687 GSM versus CDMA, there is just the iPhone 6s Plus model a1687. The 6s plus is a world phone with both CDMA and GSM radios installed. The only time the distinction matters is if buying under a plan with a particular carrier as many CDMA carriers will insist that you purchase a phone pre-provisioned for use on their network.
