Purchased an apple tv today and I can't activate it. Any help?
Its not properly connected to the network
Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - general - network)
If on wifi try Ethernet
Make ke sure router has port 123 open (refer to manual if unsure)
I tried connecting to ethernet but not working. For the DNS, do I use my iPhone for that?
No, you make sure DNS is set to auto on Apple TV settings
You also need to make sure your router has the port open
I'm stuck in the set up page. Can't go to settings.
Then you will need to check your router port or test on another network
