brother printer

I have just purchased Brother MFC-J880DW printer for my iMac and I also have a Windows laptop.

When I install the CD on my iMac, I only get Brother's Control Centre 2 which has "tools" for scanning only.

When I install the CD on my windows laptop, I get Control Centre 4 which has a lot more "tools" than CC2.

When I contacted Brother about this, they said that the reason that I only get CC2 and not CC4 is simply because APPLE will not "allow" Brother to install it on my iMac.

My question is "Is there any way that I can get CC4 for my iMac"
