Trouble with ios9.1

Updated my iPhone today (well actually it automatically did it when i connected to wifi at work) But anyway...

Since its done that i no longer have my notes they've all been deleted for some reason. Is there anyway to recover them without using a third party program? I'd rather not use anything that's not related to apple to restore it.

Is anyone else having this problem or is it just my phone? I use my notes daily and this is extremely inconvenient. I tried resetting it and checked whether they were being saved under i cloud or Hotmail or whatever but still nothing. I just want my Notes back!!
