I currently have an album in my iTunes library with no tracks or track names listed. How do I add actual tracks and then names in the information section of this album?

If it was an album that you originally ripped from CD using iTunes on that same computer, then right-click, "Get Track Names" will allow you to retrieve the track names from Gracenote.
Otherwise, right-click each track, "Get Info," and type in the info in the appropriate fields on the "Details" tab.
Thank you for your reply. It won't let me get the track names, because the error message ready that I didn't download the album from iTunes (but I know I did). I can't manually add track names, because there are no tracks (just one long one) to add names to. Please help. Thank you.
That is a faulty album if you bought it from iTunes. It should be split into the individual tracks, each with its own name. Is this a classical music album?
No, it's more contemporary pop style from the 70's.
It sounds like you have downloaded something an amateur uploaded. If you bought this from Apple I would complain. An album should not be one track. Can you find the CD online somewhere? Buy that rip it yourself.

Just to be clear, "Get Track Names" is for items previously ripped from CD with iTunes (on the same computer), not for items you downloaded.

If it is in your library as one track, you can add one track name. If you wish to split up a long track into multiple single tracks, you can use an audio editor to do so. Then add the individual tracks to your library, and give each the correct name.
