I recently got the newest version of Final Cut Pro and after I downloaded the software, it wouldn't let me import anything! The place where the title is supposed to be says 'Nothing Loaded.' If I do try to import, my computer freezes. (My storage is just fine by the way) I also can't make a new project.

WHat does that mean? What are you seeing in the import window? What exactly happenks when you press the import button?
I can open the import window but when I choose the clip I want, and press the import button nothing happens

TTry making a new library. Not sure how you can have a library without an event in it.
fcpx won't let me import anything?
