After the last update to iOS 9.1 the Battery power is jumping up and down

After I updated my iPhone to iOS 9.1 I started to suffer from many battery-related problems. I am using an iPhone 6 Plus

- the percentage keeps jumping up and down

- The power drops from 39% to 5% and the moment I open the iPhone it drops to 1%

- If I switch the screen off and reopen it I find it 12% but then the phone runs out of power and switch itself off

- The moment I add charge it, I find it above 40%

And so on.

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
  • Press and hold on the Home button
  • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

If these steps don't work, contact Apple and ask for help.
