Keep hotspot active

I use the wifi hotspot on my iPhone to allow my car to connect to the internet. However seeing as the hotspot automatically stops broadcasting shortly after leaving the hotspot seetings screen I do not seem to be able to connect automatically as I need to go into the settings each time I get into the car.

Is there any way that I can alter settings so that my car can automatically connect to the wifi hotspot on the phone when the car is started without me having to enter into the wifi hotspot settings screen? It would be ok if I needed to have the hotspot broadcasting all the time (although I don't think that is an option). But I am thinking if there may be another way to bypass the sleep mode of the hotspot, e.g. by manually entering the SSID, password etc.?
