how do i delete ibotta

The app ibotta isnt working properly and the company suggested deleting the app and starting over again by reloading it. How do I delete the app?

Hold your finger on the app until it begins to wiggle. Then tap the X and re-download it from the app store. – AJ

I normally delete apps the way you mentioned. The iBotta icon was removed, but it left the app. It's visible in my iPhone Setting & I can't delete it. Any help is appreciated.
