Can't uninstall or repair Apple Software Update on Windows 10 64-bit.

Hi guys, for some time now I wasn't able to update iTunes to the newest version and today I uninstalled the iTunes to re-install them again. Had some troubles while trying to reinstall and figured out that my Apple Software Update aplication is somehow corrupted and I can't uninstall it using "Uninstall" in "Control Panel". Also, while trying to re-install the ASU itself (used WinRAR to find only the ASU installer in itunes6464 installation package), I got the error code 2718. Also, can't find applesoftwareupdate.msi in the registry. Can you help? THX.

Normally repairing ASU and then uninstalling it works, but it seems not in your case. You could try the removal steps in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. The Microsoft FixIt (Note 1 below the second box) might be able to clean out ASU for you. Worst case clean out all of the other components and install their replacements individually leaving the rump of ASU in place.
