I accidentally restored my phone from an old backup on my old Mac but never backed up on my new Mac. Can I get pictures and texts back?

So here's the deal: I recently got a new Macbook Pro and I had never backed up my iPhone 6 plus to it. So i got the bright idea to plug my phone into my old MacBook. Well, i hit the wrong button and i clicked restore from previous backup, but my backup was from March of this year. I tried to stop it but I couldn't. So now I have the info from a backup that is 8 months, almost 9 months old. Is there anyway to gain all of those texts and pictures back? Or am I stuck with the info that i have now? Oh and before I forget, i had iCloud turned off because I was running out of storage and I was backing up to iTunes. Only I never backed up for 8 months... Someone please give me some good news!

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.1

No you cannot.

If ICloud was turned off and you didn't back it up to the computer then the information is gone.

I use ICloud, but also Amazon photos. It backs up photos from all devices into one backup. You are able to manage the photos in the backup itself such as deleting duplicates or unwanted photos. You can restore only the photos you choose, or the entire backup to any device. It would have had your previous backups, plus the 8 months worth of photos taken while iCloud was turned off. Summary; you would not have lost a single photo. And it's free with Amazon account.

Unfortunately, I learned this because I was once in your exact situation! Good luck
