Keyboard: Permanent period key in messages and mail
How do I make the standard iOS keyboard (iPhone 6S) show a period key all the time when writing messages and mails?

I don't know how to, perhaps a custom keyboard from the app store.
I think it isn't on the keyboard with the letter keys because there is a feature that will automatically type a period if you tap space twice.
To enable it (if it isn't already) go to Settings -> General -> Keyboard, and turn on "." Shortcut
