Power cord
i have a 3rd generation apple tv. Just purchased the newest version. Since the cords are tied away behind the cabinent, can I just switch the unit and leave the power cord from the older version and attach it to the new applets.

AS long as you don't use optical audio from the ATV3 to your audio system. the answer is yes. The new ATV4 does not have optical rather just HDMI. thats how I installed my new one - didn't swap the cables just the ATV itself...
