Edit iTunes Library

Strange question - I hope this is somehow possible.

Recently I had to create a new Windows profile (I use Windows 10) and transfer all my files.This included the iTunes library that lives in the Music My music wasn't a problem - that was all on a seperate drive, so iTunes installed in the new profile was able to see it no problem.

My books however (of which I have an absolute ton) was moved from ....documents\my ebooks\ in my first profile to the same exact folder in my new profile.

The only difference between the profile names are Joel (the first) and Joel_ (the second).

My question is this: Locating multiple missing files for my books didn't work. Is there a way of physically editing the iTunes library file so that all references to joel can be changed to joel_?
