scroll bar overlay

Hello,

Safari has a tendency to overlay the scroll bar on the right margin of text. Firefox does not do that but absorbs screen area with tabs instead of favorites.

I write simple html5 for ferrocement.com and have not been able to find a way to set the right margin for Safari. I notice Safari is a respectable 20%+ of browsers and would like to find a way to clear the scroll bar.
