Is iPhoto 9.6.1 no longer available?

App Store does not have iPhoto 9.6.1. I think it's the latest version. How does one get it?

Thanks

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), iMac (10.9.5) iPhoto (9.5.1)

If you already own iPhoto 9.5.1, you should be able to update to iPhoto 9.6.1 by reinstalling.

Check, if iPhoto is showing in your Purchases history.

  • If you are seeing iPhoto on the fourth tab of the AppStore "Purchases" , when you sign into the Store menu with your AppleID, move iPhoto 9.5.1 to the Trash, but don't empty it.
  • Open the Purchases tab of the App Store, it should now be showing "Install", then click it to reinstall iPhoto. It will install the current, updated version.
