how to delete untitled folder on desk top

I hope that I'm able to assist you today with your concern. If I'm understanding you correctly, your trying to delete an untitled folder icon on your desktop and it won't go to the trash. Have you tried right clicking it and selecting Trash instead of dragging it to the trash bin. Please let me know if that worked!
