Q: Prompted to enter transfer apps from ID's that aren't mine

I just transferred my saved apps via iCloud from my old iphone to my new iphone.  I entered my Apple ID and password and then was prompted if I wanted to transfer some of my 'other apps' from ID's from people I do not know.  Has my account been hacked?

If a strange app has appeared on your iOS device, it is possible that someone may have hacked your Apple ID and used it to download that app.

Check your purchase history -- On an iPhone, go to App Store -> Updates -> Purchased.

On an iPad, go to App Store -> Purchased.

By default, apps will be listed in order of purchase, with the most recently purchased sorted at the top.

If you see apps on this list that you know you did not download, and that nobody with access to your Apple ID downloaded, then this is confirmation that your Apple ID has been hacked.

In the event that you have been hacked, you will need to immediately log in to appleid.apple.com and change your Apple ID password.
