The text for "HR MIN SEC FR" is offset to the left in the Dashboard.
Plus there are some random lists of pixels in the Dashboard. Do I need to reinstall FCPX?

No. Don't reinstall. It's an El Capitan -related cosmetic glitch which is widely reported. Wait for a future fix.
