That has nothing at all to do with your question or my answer - what used to be called iPhoto trash is now called Recently Deleted and it is an album under the albums section of Photos 1.2

Nov 27, 2015 6:25 PM in response to Tina Barkleyby LarryHN,★HelpfulYou can update - and since you did not give us any details we can only guess - in Photo 1.0 recently deleted is under the file menu - and yes you should update to ElCaptain and Photos 1.2 - there are many updates and improvements and bug fixes
