how to fix time?

So about a three days ago my time switched like it was daylight savings time. I was up watching tv and texting and the time was going on midnight. at midnight my time jumped back to 11:48. I only know this because a message came in at midnight and the time stamp on it was in 22 minutes. Since then I've tired all kinds of ways to fix it. I've turned off and on the set automatically, didn't work. I fixed it manually. I thought that worked because the time started changing but a little later I looked and it went back to the time I ad set. For example I did it today at 6:23 it is now 8:50 and the time reads 6:36 on my phone. I even tried resetting my phone with no luck. The time zone is correct and I have no idea what else to do. Please help!
