Mail Splitting up Messages

Hello,

I get messages that contain listings for websites that are resources for me. When I got the messages via my WebMail account, all was fine. But MacMail has somehow read maybe the source or headers (?) and is sending each item listed as a separate email, really filling up my inbox. How in the world is this happening? Is there a setting/preference doing this? How do I stop it?
