I’m running Native Instruments “Battery" in MainStage, controlling it with a keyboard and a Drumkat percussion controller. I want to be able to cut off a note’s sustain (choke the note) with a foot switch, similar to a hihat choke function. Anyone know how I can get that happening?

I appreciate the link to Battery, however I'm using 3 other patches with ESX24 in the Mainstage concert (with mallet patches) that need the same footswitch cutoff. I'll bet there is a function in Mainstage that can sent a "Release" or "aftertouch" command to all notes in a patch. I havent been able to figure out how.
How do you trigger the mallet patches? Are you using a KAT mallet controller? That has a sustain pedal, that would cut off the sounds, if released and the EXS instrument is set up that way.
I'm not sure, how Battery can react to sustain off, drum modules have choke groups, that are used for hihats.
If nothing helps, Scripter is the universal weapon. You just needs a script, that tracks your notes and sends note off messages, if a foot switch its triggered.
I haven't tested this yet, but you might try selecting the sustain pedal in the workspace, then assign it in the screen control inspector below to the instrument(Marimba in the screenshot)>EXS24>Envelopes>Envelope 2 release. Map the saved value, button on, and button off values.
