education apple ID

My school doesn't offer an apple id log on. I purchased iPod touches with my own money to load with audio books to use in a listening center. I already have 5 devices in my family on my personal apple ID. Is there any way to get any type of exceptions for apple ID #s if it is for educational use? I'm not sure what my options will be or if I will have to make another apple ID. I really don't want to have a bunch of apple IDs because that is one more thing to keep of. I can see having my personal one and then a separate educational one but can it host more than 5 devices or not? Help.
