What are dimensions of the ipad2 I own. Can not find them anywhere. Is the iPad air 2 the same size?

Is the iPad air 2 a better unit than my ipad2. (i really am not computer smart).
The iPad 2 is going on 5 years old the Air 2 is less than that. Given a choice the Air 2 is 'better' simply because it is newer and has more power, and likely will be supported by future iOS updates longer.
They can both run iOS 9. The air is newer. It has a better processer and screen. It depends on your needs as what is better for you. If you are just buying one, I would recommend the air. -AJ
so the really best one is the pro. correct. i just don't used it for all the things it is capable of doing. if you were going to buy one what would it be

That really depends on what you will use it for and what apps you plan to use with it.
Given that the cost of the iPad Pro is comparable to that of a laptop, you're not the only one that could be thinking that way.
The pro may have a bit more power and certainly larger screen size, but the average person can most likely get along just fine with an Air 2.
This is also a good time of year to be shopping since many retailers are offering sales.
I would caution against getting a used one unless the seller can prove that the activation lock has been removed.
If I won the lottery or money was no object, I'd go for the pro just to have the screen size. however I've gotten by just fine with my iPad 2 for 4 years now. I did order a mini 4 to replace my 2. If I wanted a larger one I would order the Air 2. The pro looks great but unless you're into graphics or high end gaming, it's kinda like driving the Ferrari to the grocery store.
