My ipod touch 6th generation turned off on its own and wont turn back on again

I have an iPod touch 6th generation and I have had it for two months

I know I have not over charged it or anything like that

But it turns off randomly on its own

This has happened once before and I charged it an it turned back on again

I put it on charge again monitoring it for four hours and it still won't turn on

Should I call for a replacement or can I fix it somehow

iPod touch, iOS 9.1

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
