the remote app on my iPhone 6s does not work any more

Hi

I have a 3rd generation Apple TV without the remote control which i bought from an auction house and it has been working fine for the the past year or so. I have just changed broadband provider and since installing the new router i cant get the Apple TV REMOTE app to detect the Apple TV box. I get messages telling me to turn on Home Sharing which I have done on all my devices (iPhone, iPad and macbook). I have reset the Apple TV to its factory setting and have deleted and reinstalled the remote app on several occasions all no to avail.

Any advice will be very welcome as I am getting very frustrated!!!

In order for the Remote app to work, both the ATV and the app need to be on the same WiFi network. It sounds as if your ATV is not connected to the new network. You'll need a remote in order to set that up. I believe replacements are $30 at Apple.
