iPhone can't turn off
Hi my brand new iPhone 6 plus won't let me swipe to use, tried turning it off but won let me swipe to do so?? don't know how to remover the battery so i can restart it, can anyone help please

Hold the power button and the home button at the same time until the device shuts off.
