If I understand correctly, there may be an issue with Safari not responding as expected on your iPhone 6. Take a look at the article below and run through the general app troubleshooting tips that it provides.
If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open - Apple Support
Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
If the issue persists, try restoring the iPhone as shown here:
