Cannot skips song, with remote without pressing Menu button first on apple tv4.Seems like screensaver has to be deactived before skipping song reacts.

Same problem.
I think I'm going to reconnect my AppleTV 3 to my AVR and use it for music & just use the AppleTV 4 for TV/Films/games. Then I can use the iPhone & iPad remote to control the AppleTV 3 for music.
Apple should be embarrassed that the solution to a lot of the shortfalls on the ATV4 is to connect two different versions of AppleTVs.
Really not very impressive by Apple considering their resources that they don't have the software and apps ready at launch.
No sure if this helps... but I found that if I 'click' on the right edge of the Siri remote track pad, it skips to the next song. Vice versa for the left edge to go back.
