updated to El Capitan and now will not sync w/ my blackberry Z10

I just updated to El Capitan and now will not sync with my Blackberry Z10. uninstalled / reinstalled BB softwarw, the BB says that it is connected but needs drivers. The Mac says its not connected.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
