Q: Apple TV 4 Doesn't See My 5Ghz Band

I've just purchased and installed the new Apple TV 4, replacing a v.2, and it doesn't see my 5Ghz band. The v.2 TV ran on the 5Ghz band, in the same location, without any issues and every other tech-item I have the house that can use it is able to see it.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it.?

Hello Elvinalfie,

If I understand correctly, there's an issue with your Apple TV connecting to your wireless network. Try taking a look at the article below and running through the general troubleshooting tips in the article below.

Apple TV 4 uses AC technology. It uses only 5ghz. Make sure your 5ghz network has a different name then your 2.4ghz one.
