iPhone won't update to new Apple ID email (not a new id altogether)

I changed my apple ID eMail on the apple website (note: I did NOT create a new ID, I just changed the email to my current one). I got the change to go into effect on my MacBook and in iTunes on my phone, but apple pay and iCloud still prompt me to use my old email. I HAVE signed out of and back into my Apple ID in the iTunes section of my phone's settings, But there is no option to do so in the apple pay and iCloud sections of settings.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1

Hello BroghanHA,

The resource below explains how to change the Apple ID for the services you use

Sign in with a different Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you want to change the email address associated with your Apple ID, sign in to My Apple ID to change your email address, then use these steps to update it in the services on your device.

iCloud

  1. Tap Settings > iCloud on your iOS device. If you see the option to sign in, you can change your Apple ID now.
  2. Scroll down and tap Sign Out. In iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account. After you sign out of iCloud, you might not be able to access some of your data that's stored in iCloud until you sign in again. If you're part of a family, you'll need to sign back in to use Family Sharing.

  3. Choose Keep on My iPhone or Delete from My iPhone.
  4. Enter your password.
