Q: Can I use my MacBook Pro with the 27" Thunderbolt Display
My MacMini seems to have thrown a tantrum with El Capitan and I need to be able to continue my work with my 2.4Ghz Intel Core duo MacBook Pro (2008). I see that I can connect the two leads into the side of my MBP but a blank black screen seems to dominate with no signs of life at all. Any suggests please?

TBD only will work if you have TB port on your laptop. Your laptop probably has a mini display port which looks the same but is different in function.
