Q: how can i determine the age of my pad?

How do I detemine the age of my ipad? It's been years and I just can't remember what year I bought it.

Settings>general>about and copy the model number. If you look it up it you could get a general idea based upon what iPad it is . -AJ

Thanks. I found the model number but don't know what to do next. Where do I go to in put the model number to get what year it was made?

tap on settings then general and about copy the serial number then go to this link https://checkcoverage.apple.com/
and past the serial number there.
