Q: My texts are showing up on my iPad but not on my iPhone, any suggestions?

I Purchased a new iPhone 6s and iPad. Originally my texting was working fine on my phone but now my iPad seems to be the only device receiving new texts. I must have to change a setting but can't figure out how this occurred. Any ideas would be appreciated.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.2, Really my icloud mail service
