6s will not sync to pc

bought 6s yesterday, it will not sync with my HP pc windows 10. Had Apple support but it was determined to be a hardware issue. Did Icloud backup from 5s to 6s, it finally went through after erasing all content and restarting phone. Never have seen "trust this computer" on the phone so is there a place for it in settings?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.1, phone not recoginized on PC W10

If it's a hardware problem, you're going to have to get the faulty hardware fixed / replaced. There is no magic that will overcome that.
