Re-install Os Lion - error message sign in apple store

Hi guys,

Some help plz;

My laptop became suddenly too slow/un-responsive without any reason - very long boot time and freezes without being to complete any function except after extended delay (above 20mins).

I tried all possible diagnostics on disk utilities - nothing is above normal with at least 25 GB free on HDD out of 80GB.

Its an Macbook Air - with Mac OS 10.7.5 (intel core 2 DUO - 1.6 GHz - L2 Cache 4 MB - Memory 2 GB - BUS Speed 800 MHZ).

I am currently trying to reinstall OS lion software as a work around to my laptop issue.

When ever i am trying to re-intall the software through the option: "Reinstall Mac OS X Lion" - i get an error message when Using my ID & password when trying to log on apple ID account : "Service temporarily unavailable - try again later"

Any suggestions or help?

Thanks,

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
