Repair plist files - Mac OSX 10.6.8

I have my main hard drive running Snow Leopard showing Property List file issues that cannot be repaired. Is the necessary to do? I would prefer to repair these than re-install everything from scratch.

I have seen software such as PrefSetter. This tool seems more for the experienced developer.User uploaded file
