Transfer Data to iCloud

I Just purchased an iPhone 6s however it is only 16gb and that isn't enough for me. I am thinking about getting 50gb of iCloud storage. If I do get it, is there a way for me to transfer all my photos and videos to iCloud and have them deleted from my device?
