How to see apple pencil battery percentage?
CNET had a short article but the battery widget on the iPad Pro does not show the percentage of the pencil and not even the iPad as the article says it would.

Go to the notifications page and in tiny print in the very bottom, you'll see more widgets....get the batterys there and it'll work. I really do believe, when you stick your pencil in, it should pop up immediately.
In this support article it mentions that you can see the battery percentage under today view.
In the Today view, there are no percentages for the pencil nor the iPad. Meanwhile on my iPhone 6plus, the iPhone and Apple watch show up in the Today view.
I had a thought. I powered the iPad off and then back on. Now the batteries percentages show up in the Today view.
Go to the VERY bottom of the Notification page - in tiny print you'll see widgets.....select the batteries on and you'll get it for the ipad and the pencil
