Question

macbook pro doesnt start after entring password

hi

I installed mac os EI caption 20 days back.it was working fine.

suddenly today when I switched on the screen looked blurred & after entering password it didn't start but showing grey screen only.

when I tried to use guest user login its saying safari needs safe mode & it restarted again to show the grey screen.

My macbook pro is late 2011 version.

please let me know if any solution is there

Did you try safe mode-Hold down the shift key while starting? You can also go to recovery and use disk utilities to repair permissions and check the startup disk. Command R at startup. You can also try a pram reset. Command/Option P/R keys while holding down the power button for three chime. Or SMC reset.https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
