facetime flaws

I FaceTime every day and I have noticed a few absurd flaws.

1. You cannot control the FaceTime volume. Yes you can make it slightly louder and slightly quiter but for some reason the volume control basically doesn't work. ***?

It should have a dedicated volume control just like music and videos.

Why?

So that I can mute if I want and also so that I can watch video or listen to music while connected to FaceTime.

2. The cursor doesn't go away when in full screen mode. What happened to a refined user experience? I'm not sure why the latest update killed this basic function.

3. Why can't I turn off video and just have audio? This seems like a fairly basic feature especially now that it can be used over networks.

It just seems like Apple has given up improving features and is spending all of its money on advertising these days.

So is there a solution to these problems?
