Just received my Time Capsule Password?

My NEW Capsule has power and ethernet connection to modem.

Yellow light on front flashing on.

Went to Airport utilities......but says not seeing connection.

Help????

Airport utilities in what device.. a Mac .. if so what OS.. in windows. .or in iOS.

Each has their own little tricks .. iOS one is usually the best to use .. the most reliable.

But to get it working you need to set the wireless to connect to the new TC..

I have 2 Macs, one Macbook and the other Macbook Pro

OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.1 on both machines

Apple were supposed to set it up for me while they had my Pro, but not certain if it was done as the Airport unit still has a flashing yellow light.

Do it like this..

Make sure you have wireless active on the computer.. if it is an older computer or you have a thunderbolt to ethernet adapter use that as well.

Do a soft reset of the TC.. that means hold down the reset button (use toothpick or paperclip etc) for 1-2sec..

Then all passwords are removed.. The TC will revert to default values for 5min. That means you can access it easily in airport utility.. if it isn't showing up go to the top menu in airport utility and select configure other.. and type in the IP address 10.0.1.1 that must work.

Then you can fix up any problems by redoing the passwords or setup as you require.
