If you are referring to the small icon to the left of your username in iTunes, that is just a generic user icon and there is no option to change it to your own picture.

No I am not. My kid put her picture on the ipod when after signing into icloud it shows her picture

I just found it. I logged into Icloud and that was where the picture was and was easy to change from there.
