Is it possible to do a self-upgrade of the late 2015 Retina 27in iMac, from a HDD / Fusion Drive to a self-bought SSD?

Hi all,

I would like to check if it is possible to do the above mentioned upgrade in a late 2015 27in Retina 5k iMac. Was considering this as the SSD prices on a build-to-order are crazy expensive (+700 SGD approximately here!?).

Appreciate any input in this!

I don't recommend it, iMacs are not easy to work on.

As a precaution, you should check w/AppleCare since you are still under warranty. You do not want to jeopardize your warranty by voiding it out.
