Mini 2 Constantly asking for my Apple ID

Every time I boot my iPad Mini 2 it asks for my Apple ID and it will keep asking until I enter it. And even then it will ask for it without going near iTunes or any Apple.com site. I believe that I am up to date with iOS 9.. Any suggestions on what I might be missing or doing wrong? Thank you.
