Why does I message keep telling me to turn my data on when it is
my I message isn't working and when I go to turn it in it tells me to turn my data on and it's already on. Why did this just happen and how can I fix it
If this is a new issue that just occurred then you should make sure that you actually have Internet access. Just because you have data turned on does not mean that there is not some other problem with the Internet connectivity or even that you are having a localized carrier problem. First, try using Safari to load several web pages to see if you can really reach the Internet. If you can, then try restarting the phone to see if that get iMessage working again. If you can't reach the Internet, then you will either need to join a WiFi network or wait until your cell carrier solves the issue.
